Banner Printing
Printed banners are one of the most versatile and cost effective forms to promote or advertise your message to your audience.
Banners are normally supplied hemmed and eyeletted for exterior use and are printed with fade resistant inks.

The finishing of your banner will generally be determined by its use. Most banners though will require some form of finishing which will probably consist of them being sewn and possibly eyeletted. Please click on one of the tabs below for more information.
Hemming and Eyeletting
The addition of a hem gives the eyelets more material to grip onto making them less likely to be pulled out in strong winds and is the most common type of banner finishing. Hemming will give the corners of your banner 4 layers of material which is very important as most of the strains placed upon the banner is by the 4 corner eyelets! Hems are sewn with a very strong, clear monofilament thread which is virtually invisible.
We fix eyelets approximately every 500mm to ensure an even tension on the banner. We use three types of eyelets: plain brass, used on our standard banners; nickel-plated brass (which prevents tarnishing) for our premium banners and black, white or blue polypropylene eyelets for when you require a fully recyclable banner to be produced*. *Please note that these are only available for use with our recyclable banner material, please specify this when ordering.
Useful for when banners need to be hung, widely used on mesh scaffold banners for example, these have 50mm sleeves for the poles sewn into the tops and bottoms and/or sides which helps to spread the wind loading along the entire length of the pocket.
No Finishing
If you wish we can supply your banner with clean cut edges and no eyelets, this will save you quite a bit of money and is ideal if the banner is to be secured behind a frame or attached to a wall using penny washers or used internally where the additional strength of a hem is not required. We can of course still eyelet your unhemmed banner.
Wind Slits
We can also cut 'wind slits' into your banner, which is something to seriously consider if it is to be used in an extremely windy location as the vents created will help to take some of the wind loading off the banner.
Rope
We can sew a rope into a sleeve in the top and bottom of your banner, useful for example when you wish to hang your banner across a street*. *Please note that you will require permission from your local council to do this.
Cable-Ties
The easiest and most common type of attaching a hemmed & eyeletted banner. We sell clear 4.8mm x 300mm clear cable-ties in packs of 25, 50 or 100, to order click here.
Rope
Essential if you need to suspend your banner between a couple of trees for example. We sell two types, 6mm white polypropylene or 8mm polyester, to order click here.
Bungee
If your banner needs a little 'give' when it is affixed then bungee is the answer. We sell white with fleck 6mm bungee shockcord, to order click here.

We have several banner materials available and it is important that you select the correct type, this can be determined by it use, for example, we would strongly recommend that you choose our quality, M1 fire-rated banner for internal use, as many exhibition venues for example will insist on a fire-rated product for internal use. Please click on one of the tabs below for more information.

Premium Frontlit PVC Banner 575gsm FR -
A superb heavyweight frontlit banner which also carries an M1 fire-rating making it must for interior exhibition use.
Mesh Banner 350gsm

Backlit Banner 600gsm FR -
This material is slightly translucent which is ideal for creating backlit displays such as those used in large lightboxes etc.
