Foamex Printing

Foamex is the generic term used when referring to a type of PVC foam board, some common well known brand names are: Forex; Foamalux; Palite; Falcon; Target etc. We generally use Forex Print due to its outstanding brilliant white smooth surface and excellent ink adhesiion. Printed Foamex panels are the ideal material for the production of high quality full colour prints and are commonly used for exhibition graphics, museum graphics, point-of-sale. etc. Stylize Display Graphics can print Foamex panels to any shape, size or quantity and we stock Forex Print panels in many different thicknesses and sheet sizes to ensure that the correct product can be chosen for your exact requirement.

Foamex panels are printed directly onto via our 6 colour plus white, 3.2m wide Agfa Anapurna H3200i LED uv curable printer, depending on the print mode this printer is capable of producing extremely high quality 1440dpi images.

We suggest that printed Foamex panels are used internally, if they are used externally we would strongly suggest the addition of a 5yr gloss uv laminate to prolong the print life. Please also be aware that Foamex panels can become very brittle in the cold and can possibly show signs of distortion if subjected to strong sunlight. For external printed graphics we would suggest using an ACM product such as Dibond which is far more dimensionally stable.
